Main Menu Bug

Greetings

I have had issues accessing the store, load-out, and season pass content in the past week.

It's grey out and is not selectable

what could be a solution?

  • Hey @thefate787,

As mentioned by @Kstan777, this is something that can happen when you unlink another platform account from your EA account.

This link has a bit more information about the unlinking process, but I've quoted the relevant portions below as well.

When you unlink a platform account from your EA Account, you can link it to another EA Account, but your in-game progress will not transfer over.

That means you’ll permanently lose access to all of the following:

    • games and game progress
    • DLC, expansions, and anything extra you have for your game
    • memberships and subscriptions
    • in-game purchases.

If you unlink your platform account and link it back to your original EA Account, you may be able to get access to your stuff if you still can access the account.

    Do you play Apex?

If you unlink a platform account that you use to play Apex Legends, you may have issues with Battle Pass leveling, item unlocks, and other errors.

Instead of unlinking and relinking a platform account you play Apex on, it may be better to start fresh on a new account.

If you still have access to the original account, you can try re-linking your original accounts to restore that normal functionality.

If you're unable to do so, you can keep an eye on the bug report thread here for more updates once we have additional information to share.

  • @thefate787 Yep this is happening to a ton of people. Have you recently relinked your EA account? A member of EA has posted today that a fix is planned at somepoint. They have been very quiet about the issue which doesn't give me much hope that it will be fixed soon. I have had the bug for a month now and some people have had it since the start of the season.

  • I get that it has the warning but is there going to be a fix on it?
