Thanks for reporting this, we can pass what you're experiencing along to our team. In order to help us now, we can recommend trying a few things to help see if we can keep your FPS at 60.
- Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Try adjusting in-game settings
- Run Origin and Apex as an administrator (by right-clicking desktop icons and selecting 'run as admin")
- Disable Origin in-game overlay
- Trying closing other applications or overlays running
- Allowing Origin and Apex through your anti-virus or firewall
- Clear Origin Cache
- Clean Boot
- Origin - Repair the game | Steam - Verify game files

@EA_Illium the problem started in season 7 since that's where the new map arrived , this problem is only on the olympus map.
I think the problem must come from the map because I have never had such a problem in other seasons

Is there a way to fix it? This happens for me as well. Massive frame drops when in open grassy spaces on the map. Waterfalls are causing the same issue. Usually my PC runs apex at over 120+ frames, but these areas have drops down to 40fps. It's so drastic that its very noticeable and it's affecting my fights in these areas badly.
Would just like to reply and add to the voices that I also see my FPS drop significantly as soon as I step onto the grass in Olympus, in particular in the grassy area with the boulders next to the grow towers and the path up to the portals where the drop is at least 40 and usually up to 70 frames. GTX 1660 super, AMD 3600X, 16 GB Ram. This is/was not an issue on the other two maps, lowering the settings to medium/low I still see big frame drops which impact the experience. Thank you.

@EA_IlliumI forgot to say it, but there are also big drops of fps at the waterfall, I have below 40 fps looking at it
- @MrTux Explain to me guys how can I have tearring and image stuttering at 170-180 fps, I've tried everything and nothing helps, I tried to limit fps to 144, download riva tuner, add various startup commands, tried reinstall windows, all drivers are up to date, I will mark that the game last season ran smoothly on the minimum settings, I have a 144hz monitor, Geforce GTX PALIT 1070TI, Ryzen 5 3600, 16gb ram. need help with fps drop and stuttetring for this game.

same issue here was running all fine about 3days ago now i have huge fps drops and stuttering when either looking at buildings and in combat
spec: ryzen 2600x
amd 5700xt
16gb ram running 3200mhz
128 ssd+2tb hdd
i dont know if its relevant but i can play cod mwf no worries but any origin games like bfv or nfs i am having the same issue maybe its an error on origins servers?
