I think Ryzen is fine, AMD Cards are the main issues. I have 60-70% gpu usage, when the fps is dropping, all other games are totally fine
I mannaged to get stable 90 fps (115-85) rather than 170 - 40 drops on rx580 ryzen 5 2400G.
It know that 90 fps dont look pretty nice but stable it is just waaay smother than high fps with low fps drops.
1. Rollout to the previous stable AMD driver. 20.9.1
2. Removed all overlays (xbox overlay, radeon overlay, steam overlay)
3. Apex settings:
- v-sync - Double Buffered / none
- anti-aliansing - TSAA
- VRAM texture - 2gb;
4. Radeon settings
- Radeon enhanced sync ON
- Anti-aliansing - override app settings (2x)
- Ani-aliansing method - multisampling
- Morphological AA - ON
- Texture filtering quality - performance
- Surface format optimization - ON
- Tessellation Modre - AMD optimised
- OpenGL Triple Buffering - ON
- Automatic overclocked
ALL OTHER SETTINGS ARE OFF/LOW
Im not expert but I think there is some comunication problem between amd cards and this game.
This way it looks like it is just handling the game better.
Before rated 150 fps Optimal / GPU usage was 100% - 50% - 100% - 70% - 100% - 50%
Now rated 115 fps Excelent / NOW it is constantly 100 -95 % usage and there are no spikes in fps.

welp, it just runs the same for me, even with these settings.
Reinstalled my computer, everything is still the same. Game runs perfectly then drops to 20 fps. I am lost
I think its fine, steam pushed some update and now it runs good i would say, played just a couple of short games. seems good to me

Just followed this tutorial and everything is back to normal for me. he doens't say anything new. all the tips been here since season 4.
@nospaferrI dont know, everything I do there is difference for 1 day and then there are drops again.. now it was 40 fps average.. what is happening to this game..
dunno, I got to the point where Warzone runs better, therefore I feel like playing that more. Spent a lot of money on this game, but it just doesn't worth it anymore. This post was trending, and not a single Dev comment appeared since then.
