Merging an Apex Account to a new account on steam that was created before Oct.26
As the title said, I just created a new steam account today connected my EA ID (from my old account I want to merge with) after I found about cross Progression. The past couple of months I’ve been playing on a steam account that isn’t connected ti the same EA ID as my old account. My understanding is that it isn’t possible to merge 2 EA IDs. I also heard but I’m not sure if it’s true that you cannot merge accounts to another platform if the account is created after Oct. 26 which would mean that I cannot play my old Xbox account on Steam. Is this true that I cannot merge, or will I still eventually get the notification to merge accounts once they start rolling out

If you link an account after the 26th you will still be able to access the content from other platforms on that account.
So if you were to link a Steam account to your EA account that your Xbox account is connected to, then you'll be able to access your Xbox content on Steam once cross progression rolls out.
