Mic was working yesterday but won’t work anymore I can’t hear anyone I’m on xbox

Today my mic stop working only on apex I can’t talk or hear people in my lobby anymore. I’m on Xbox. Does anyone know how to fix this problem mic works on other games and in party chat mic icon doe...

That's definitely weird.

Do you have any other devices connected to your Xbox? If so, can you try disconnecting them all to test and see if that makes any difference?

does your mic plug into your controller? Mine is so wonder if that has something to do with it

After buying two additional mics for $100+ each, I realized that it is a game issue.. I tried everything from factory resetting my console to reinstalling apex and still not working. It appears to work in the lobby but when I get to the game it’s unreadable for everyone in my party. This is a deal breaker and cannot progress in ranked with this issue.
