microphone auto adjusting

Hi @Orion0w0,
What happens if you start up your PC in a Clean Boot before you launch Apex Legends? Does your mic volume still change afterward?
For more information on how to set up a Clean Boot check out the EA Help website. Let me know how that goes once you've had the chance to give it a shot. Thanks!

@EA_KentThank you for replying. I just performed a clean boot on my PC and ran Apex through steam on my computer. After heading to the audio settings and testing my microphone, my finding are that the problem still persists. I assume this means it definitely is not a 3rd party application that is causing the issue. Apex itself is auto-adjusting my microphone volume. It is not steam doing this either as I have the auto-balance turned off and other games I play on steam do not have this issue.
Edit: I should also mention this is not a feature of my microphone either.
Thanks for giving that a shot!
Would you mind sharing a DxDiag when you've got the chance? You can find more information on how to pull one up over at the EA Help website. Once you have the text file please attach it to this thread.
Thanks!

@l95RHl I did not find a solution to this issue, all I have concluded is that this is a PC issue with Apex Legends itself and cannot be solved on my end as the user. Your only solution would be to use discord with the teammates you play with if you want to stop the microphone from auto-adjusting.
