Microphone not recognized
HyperX headset does not seem to be recognized regardless of whether I'm using open mic or push to talk.

Same issue. Yeti mic is recognized, works everywhere (even Origin launcher) except in Apex.
I solved mine by doing what someone above said and opening the Origin overlay in game (origin launcher and overlay had different mics selected). I then went to audio settings in the game and clicked 'restore defaults'. I don't know why that worked, as the only settings I had changed in audio had been the lobby volume.
- As do I. Beexcellent headset, and also tried Bose headset.
- I got to believe as the game continues to progress, EA will fix little tweaks like this. Or in this case a big problem seeing that you can't commit to full team work without being able to speak.
