Missing kills on weapon trackers

Midnight9746I can see it's down at the bottom, added June 19th 2024. I assume they forgot all about it or can't figure it out since they recently even overhauled all the weapon challenges but apparently didn't touch this bug.

mathiassk1  Right, it is from June 19th 2024, and while I'm no dev, (or EA/Respawn staff), I do know that some of these bugs aren't an easy fix.

Like, I would think its as easy as telling the game to grab the weapon's total kills, and then applying it to the tracker, (which would make the most sense, and would be the easiest method in my opinion), however things like stat trackers are usually tied into a lot more code than just that.

I'm not sure what code it would be tied into, but if I had to guess, its tied to the weapon system itself, (not just the mastery weapon system), as well as the code for keeping track of the account's overall stats, which legend used which gun, (for damage/kills trackers for different weapon types), etc.

Coding is one of those things that can be easy, but often times when you get one thing working, a few other things would break. So, with any game, the devs have to figure out how to get everything working without breaking anything, (or breaking as few things as possible until the next patch).
