Model Detail on high, but looks low.

When I first opened up apex for the first time on my pc, I noticed that all of the legends' player models looked messy and low resolution, even after I had changed the video settings to max. I gave it a quick google search and found out that there was a model resolution problem where the model detail setting was stuck, but changeable through C:/Users/youruser/Saved_Games/Respawn/Apex/local/videoconfig. However, once I changed the setting to 1, or max resolution, my player models still look terrible, even after going into the video settings and finding model details changed to max. I've tried nearly everything and I still don't know what the problem is. I can hardly see the details of different skins of legends or guns and its getting really annoying. I attached a photo of caustic with the model detail on high as well.

  • Another method to try, is to open your Nvidia Control panel, select Manage 3D settings and click the Program Settings tab.

Once in, select the Apex Legends program in the drop box and scroll through the list of settings till you find Texture filtering Quality.

Change it to HIgh quality then apply.

Let me know if this works! 🙂
