Monitor Stuck at 120hz at Full screen native resolution.

Hello,

I have seen this same issue mentioned here but I have not found any fixes. This issue is only with Apex Legends, all my other games work just fine. Anyways, my monitor \LG 32gq850b will only run at 120hz in 1440p regardless of what I do. I have tried editing the games launch commands (-refresh 260,+fps_max 0,-freq 260,-forcenovsync) to force 260hz with no avail. I can drop the resolution down to 1080p and the monitor will return to 260hz. Going to windowed borderless or windowed also allows me to run the game at 260hz I have tried using Displayport 1.4(DSC) and HDMI 2.1 both show the same symptoms. I am using and EVGA 3090ti FTW with driver versions 516.79/.59/40 and 512.95. Also tried to disable full screen optimizations in the Apex.exe properties, setting a custom resolution in Nvidia control panel, disabling variable refresh rate in the Win11 graphics options. Nothing has worked so far and I'm all out of options. I thought this new Nvidia driver update and game update would fix the issue, but they have done nothing. I've pretty much ruled out everything else but Apex. I'm pretty sure this issue has something to do with the game. Does anyone have any ideas that could help. It would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

setting a custom resolution of 2560x1439 in the Nvidia control panel fixed the issue for me!
