My account wasn't linked fully

I've been trying to be patient with the current cross progression integrated system, but i'm starting to think it's hopeless for me. I switched to PC during season 5, and I think I have everything linked properly. However the only thing to come from my Xbox account is my two pred charms from season 2 and 3. I don't have the trails, or any of my cosmetics. I personally don't care about stats or the trails, but I'd really appreciate help retrieving my battlepass cosmetics if at all possible. The PeaceKeeper skins from season 3 might be forever my favorite skins in the entire game. If I can only get those 2 skins, I literally wouldn't care about anything else. Please help, thank you

  • Hi @zephgg,

To clarify a bit further, there is definitely a different EA account at play here. It looks like the Xbox account was only linked here some time after our original Cross Progression announcement towards the end of 2023, and in fact that was the first time Apex was ever launched on Xbox while connected to this EA account as well.

If you played on Xbox at all prior to that, which seems to be the case based on what you've mentioned, there's another EA account where that progress was initially made.

Whenever an account is unlinked it will impact that data, so while you may see some charms or badges, this certainly is not the original account. There isn't a data transfer to interrupt across multiple accounts, Cross Progression would have simply made the cosmetics earned on a particular EA account available to the platforms connected there.

This process wouldn't transfer any data from a separate account which is why we'll see this situation pop up where virtually everything appears to be missing from a particular platform - this is caused by the unlink from whichever EA account actually has that information stored.

    Hey @zephgg,

Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. Because of that, if you had linked your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.

In this case that would mean your Xbox cosmetics would have been back on the original EA account linked with your Xbox. Unfortunately unlinking from one account and linking it to another does not allow the cosmetics to be transferred between separate EA accounts.

The only way to try recovering any of those cosmetics would be to re-link your Xbox back to the previous EA account, as I'm afraid we are not able to grant individual skins or merge/transfer anything between separate accounts.

If you have any issues re-linking your accounts please reach out to support so they can help get your platform account back to its original EA account.

Im afraid I may have a bigger or unresolvable issue then unfortunately. I do not have another EA account, as I had to create a new one when I first installed the game on my Xbox. And that is further confirmed to me, as I have received data from the first 2 seasons of ranked, via my two gun charms. It seems my issue is that I haven't received any other data, which is more confusing to me unfortunately. Is there a chance the data transfer may have not completed or had been interrupted? If so, is there any way to resolve that? Im not too bothered if not, I just want full clarification if im out of luck,

Thank you for your first response, Zeph
