My pc shuts down only when i start a game or finish one at apex legends.

Hi my pc shuts down instantly when i start a match or finish a match but it doesn't make me go into a game it just shuts down and won't start any game or restarting my pc it's happening to me

for 4 or 5 days when it happened first i thought my CPU and GPU must have heated so much or something but it didn't happened before and its not happening at any other game or program

and i changed my thermal paste of my CPU but it kept happening. i changed my Texture Streaming budget from insane to High because it might have overloaded my RAM which is 8 GB but it

didn't solve my problem then i reinstalled my Driver to a recommended version. But it kept happening, weird thing is it's only happening when i finish an apex game and just came back to lobby i

could see my RP and then instantly without doing nothing it shuts down like i used restart button of my PC but it doesn't restart. It's a bit hot here like 30 degrees and my PC doesn't have

much space it might be because of overheating but i have a window and its so close my pc and it should be enough i guess, and i use Advanced system care Pro from IOBIT it says mu CPU gets

hot like to 95 degrees celcius before i changed my thermal paste now it is 80 and my GPU started to heat after my paste change to like 90 degrees celcius i'm gonna try to play some apex

games to try if it shuts down again then i'll check my PC cables or GPU and CPU

My PC has MSI Radeon RX 470 Gaming X 8G and Intel I5 2500K and it's stock cooler

Graphic Card is 2 years old and CPU is more than 8 YO i guess. My PSU is new and its cooler master 750 W

  • @Konform103 Yes i use Radeon software and it automatically sets it i do nothing till now i increased my fan speed to decrease its heating but i don't know why it only happens at apex GPU heats to 90 degrees celcius from 40 or 60 when at menu i tried everything but i don't know the solution i'm gonna try to update my driver right now.

@Alpha0Prime actually i changed my monitor's hz from 60 to 75 with custom resolution i was using it for 2 or 3 weeks but it did nothing till 5 or 6 days and i believe it has nothing to do with my GPU because only heats it up. If my monitor was 144 hz or 120 hz it would be the same my game settings are usually at low 2 weeks later it was at like highest of all and i had no problem

@Alpha0Prime maybe try and save money for an upgrade in the coming months.. games are getting more demanding and apex is asking 90% usage since season 5 on my 4690..

if u really care about apex maybe disable intel turboboost in the bios might be a bit of ease on the temps.. you can also use afterburner to underclock ur gpu

what kind of thermal paste are u using btw? they can differ.. like mine is 8w/mK thermal conductivity.. if u get a cheapo one it can be 1 or 2 w/mK it can make a difference.. also make sure ur pc is dustfree
