@Alpha0Prime Are u sure ur not overclocking?
- 5 years ago@Konform103 Yes i use Radeon software and it automatically sets it i do nothing till now i increased my fan speed to decrease its heating but i don't know why it only happens at apex GPU heats to 90 degrees celcius from 40 or 60 when at menu i tried everything but i don't know the solution i'm gonna try to update my driver right now.
- 5 years ago@Alpha0Prime actually i changed my monitor's hz from 60 to 75 with custom resolution i was using it for 2 or 3 weeks but it did nothing till 5 or 6 days and i believe it has nothing to do with my GPU because only heats it up. If my monitor was 144 hz or 120 hz it would be the same my game settings are usually at low 2 weeks later it was at like highest of all and i had no problem
- 5 years ago@Alpha0Prime maybe try and save money for an upgrade in the coming months.. games are getting more demanding and apex is asking 90% usage since season 5 on my 4690..
if u really care about apex maybe disable intel turboboost in the bios might be a bit of ease on the temps.. you can also use afterburner to underclock ur gpu
what kind of thermal paste are u using btw? they can differ.. like mine is 8w/mK thermal conductivity.. if u get a cheapo one it can be 1 or 2 w/mK it can make a difference.. also make sure ur pc is dustfree
