You should also check any other accounts or emails you have and change the passwords just in case since if they are able to gain access to your steam account then they could potentially gain access to your other accounts and emails.

Use an anti virus software to scan your computer as well.

@NFKELkk  When you link a platform account to your EA account you can't swap out and add a new one with the same type of platform since your EA account can only allow for one type of platform account in it's lifetime.

In other words. If you linked a steam account to your EA account previously you can't swap out your old steam account with a new one since the system won't allow it. If that makes any sense.

That is why you need to contact Steam in order to get your Steam account back from the hacker.
