Nvidia fpslimiter/apex has been not working properly since driver 450.XX

Nvidia fps limiter has been not working properly since driver 450.XX and anything after that requires RTSS to get the smoothest frametime/framepacing.Disabling the ingame Nvidia reflex setting makes no difference.

2 videos showing the issue.Notice the erratic frametime going from 6ms-9ms on a static 141fps.That should not happen.Once RTSS is used the frametime mostly stays static as it should on fixed fps which in return shows a much smoother camera pan/frame pacing when looking around. This was not an issue on driver 450.XX and older drivers and Nvidia fps limiter worked properly in containing frametime like RTSS can.

The issue has been going on since driver 450.XX.

A user in the Nvidia forums also noticed the issue and apparently has been notifying Nvidia of the issue almost every month since driver 452.06

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/user/354897/464117//?comment=3123522 and they have yet to fix the issue. (You can check the guy's history and you can confirm that he did indeed notify them of the issue pretty much every month since driver 452.06.

If you use RTSS the issue stops and the frametime is contained. If you go back to drivers prior 450.XX the Nvidia fps limiter works as intended and the frametime is contained (less erratic)

I noticed this issue on multiple PC's and it's partly why I haven't been playing Apex in some time until I installed it today to see if anything got fixed but everything its the same.

And its also not just an fps limiter issue.Ever since 450.XX the frametime of the game has been this erratic with or without an fps limiter which also corresponds with the Nvidia fps limiter also not working as intended with Apex so in general there was a degredation of frametime stability/messing with the Nvidia fps limiter ever since and everyone would benefit from Nvidia getting this issue fixed.

For me both in-game limiter and nvidia fps limiter produced stuttering and uneven frametimes. Only RTSS provided smooth line (and only to certain season I think 7 or maybe even 6 - after that it was stuttering all over the place again).

Scratch my last sentence. I have tested it with RTSS again, locking fps to 141, and it was buttery smooth again!
