OOPS, Something went wrong, please try again later (100) apex legends

Something went wrong, please try again later (100) for Apex Legends. I tried uninstalling twice and I reopened and closed the app 40 times over. I am on PS4.

Change your DNS to google's DNS(primary:8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4 4) in your PS4

After Apex Legends Update 1.03 I am unable to sign in and get past the initial main menu. Attempting to connect fails and almost every time I receive the message "Unable to complete EA Account sign in (Code 100). See ea.com/unable-to-connect for additional information."

No troubleshooting has led me anywhere and my internet connection does not seem to be the issue.
