Final update - its the way the monitor gets the 144hz refresh. If you lower it to 120 its fine!
I have the same issue with a 1070ti. This is the only game that I get this snd it seems to stay even after closing the game so I have restart.
Cleaned my drivers and reinstalled them. Same thing happens. Tried older drivers but that did not help.
Glad it's not just me!
edit - so I think it's linked to getting downed. But not every down....

I've just figured out that turning the monitor off and on again clears the problem.

Glad to hear that you managed to fix it! Really bizzare, I'll try restarting the monitor as well whenever this pops up.
