Problem with anti-cheat

I have been having problems with my game since the Windows 11 update in October. I haven't been able to play the game since then. Every time I launch the game, I can access the menu, but then the game stops due to an error (no code assigned), which states: "The client is not running the anti-cheat module or has failed anti-cheat authentication," and the game takes me back to the connection menu. I tried uninstalling Apex from Steam and reinstalling it on the EA launcher, but the same error persists. I also tried launching the game without any software that could enable macros (Razer software, Logitech G), but nothing has changed, i also disable steam input. I am here, asking for help.

Before someone talk about it I tried this too : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73hsiMLZlGU

Here is the error message (in French, my native language).

  • Hey there,

Please note that Apex Legends uses Easy Anti-Cheat which is different from EA Anti-Cheat. The steps you shared in your post are for EA Anti-Cheat.

Can you please try a Clean boot, restart your PC and reinstall the game while running Steam/EA app as admin: How to clean or safe boot your computer

@Naymeer571 I'm glad that worked. If you want to, you can now redo the process of Clean Boot and start enabling a few programs to see if you can find out which program was causing the issue here so you can keep all other apps that you wish running in the background.
