Problem With Apryze Creator Challenge (500 Ordnance Damage)

Are you getting any damage to track at all, or is it just inconsistent like Midnight9746's seems to be?

Keep in mind that legend abilities like Knuckle Clusters and Maggie's Riot Drill do not count as ordnance, so you'll want to stick with the grenades for this one!

Same exact problem. 

abcLQjPi11gQ5f  & heckapants I did manage to complete the challenge, and from what I could tell:

•  It only seemed to count the total damage from grenades if the player taking damage was hit with the grenade first, (such as being stuck with the arc star, and then exploding)

Try to directly hit players with explosives, (your best bet would be an arc star in Control or TDM), and be sure to let EA_Mako know what happens then.

Not sure how to reach out to EA_Mako , hopefully if I mention them here word gets to them?

I've also found my 500 damage with ordnance pegged at 68.  Ordinarily I wouldn't report because it seems like whinging but that's a weirdly similar number.  Since I hit it I know I've seen the damage register when playing Fuse pitching grenades ( not knuckle clusters ).  Bit of a pity because that's the only thing I need to complete the overall challenge.

And tonight I've lost connection to games three times in succession.  That never happens.

Down detector isn't showing anything but I'm left wondering if something is up?

I had found luck with directly hitting the player with a grenade first with the impact damage, and then letting them take the explosion damage.

Thanks for the response.  I don't know if it'll work for you but I was suspicious because of the dropped games.  I switched servers and that seemed to fix everything.  No more dropped games and the challenge registered my (admittedly not amazing) ordnance damage.  Wound up being able to pass the challenge.

Posting that not to boast but in case EA_Mako checks in.  I tried sending them a message but never got confirmation that it was sent ...so I either spammed them with a couple or none.  :/

Oh, and not to disagree with the advice you kindly offered but it would be really unlikely that I was directly hitting players with the grenades.  ( I have a hard enough time doing that with full-auto )  So in my experience the splash damage was kicking in as expected.

Interesting to hear it cleared up after switching servers, was that another in the same area or a different time zone altogether?
