PS4 Cannot Connect to EA Servers - APEX

I have restarted my PS4, the App, my internet, everything and it is stuck on the main menu screen. It keeps saying it can't connect to EA servers. I guess this update is having a ton of problems. All my other games work fine btw so it's not my internet.
I cannot either. Stuck on main menu screen.

Everytime there’s a damn patch this * happens * sick of it had a long day at work come home to play apex and no one in England seems to be able to connect to the game wtf patches are suppose to fix the game not break them and while I’m on a damn rant I’ve opened over 2000 packs and still no heirloom while my buddy I got into the game 3 weeks ago has 2 heirlooms already * SORT IT OUT I’ve spent money on the damn game
- @higaroshi The Apex devs announced that this was a beta patch (at least the cross-platform part). The programmer in me, though, is puzzled. They're taking a big risk shoehorning beta code alongside a limited-time event. If it's buggy enough (which it seems to be), many players will be locked out of the early rewards, and they're souring a marquee event with bad first impressions. It doesn't help that the PS4 version is a hot mess. I've always had issues with menu and interface bugs. Dev people: good QA pays dividends. Bad QA sinks ships.
