Random FPS drop?
Hey there guys!
I have been getting random lag spikes for a few days now. They're completely random, they might be linked to something but till now I couldn't find a pattern. My fps runs normal and then for 2/5 seconds it drops to 0/20 and slowly goes back up. It happens once per game but it's really annoying and frustrating in the wrong scenarios.
I dont have these problems with any other games (overwatch, assassins creed and beamng.drive)
I have a 1660Ti and a i7 10th gen with 16gb ram. I'm always connected by ethernet cable. So it cant be my graphics (as I've put them on low it still happens). Do you guys/gals have any solutions?
Hey, make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth to reinstall the GPU drivers for your PC.
You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with APEX and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.
Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
