Ranked packet loss

I receive packet loss on only my ranked games for absolutely no reason at all. It happens to my friend sometimes, but not as often. I am on playstation and he is on xbox, and whenever it happens the little square symbol indicating packet loss appears, and it doesn't go away unless I am near absolutely nobody, and there is no gunfire close to me. Even then, packet loss is still an issue. The game is genuinely unplayable with this, and I have to restart my game and/or my playstation for a chance for it to go back to normal for a game or two before it goes back again. I know other people are experiencing this as well, I have looked through the forums and seen many report this issue. I hope this gets fixed soon... I just got back into the game and when I don't have this issue I have a lot of fun playing.
