EA Account Hacked - Apex Legends Account Linked to Different Email
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone from EA or the community can point me in the right direction. A few days ago, my Apex Legends account was hacked. The attacker also attempted to take over my PlayStation account, but fortunately I was able to secure that account before they gained full access. However, my EA account appears to have been compromised. The email address associated with it has been changed to an email that does not belong to me, and I can no longer access the original EA account that was linked to my PlayStation account and Apex Legends progress. When I try to link my PlayStation account to my current EA account, I receive a message indicating that the PlayStation account has already been linked before and cannot be linked again due to EA's lifetime linking restrictions. This makes me believe the hacker still has my original EA account linked to my PlayStation account. I've searched through EA Help and the account recovery articles, but I haven't been able to find a way to contact support directly regarding this specific situation. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a way to recover an EA account when the email address has been changed by an attacker? Any guidance from EA staff would be greatly appreciated, as I have years of Apex Legends progress tied to this account. Thank you for your time and any help you can provide.Missing Apex Legends PSN Progress
Alright so to start, a few days ago i unlinked my steam profile from my dormant EA account, didn't care about loss of data or anything cause it didn't have any to begin with. Now afterwards i linked it to my main EA account one that already had my PSN linked with its progress over 755hrs played aswell as probably over $70ish spent on the game. Now i load up the game and boom my data is gone, i checked, steam, EA app and on my PS5 itself. Its almost like the steam overide the psn's progress and i have no idea why there was no warning or anything like that. I have talked to over half dozen advisors now all giving different solutions and none have worked. I'm currently at my wits end. I simply don't know what else to do, i just want my stuff back. To clarify i have not unlinked my psn profile from my main EA account so its not connected to the wrong account or anything its remained linked for years now. I also only have 1 psn account. Last bit of info on Apex tracker, when i search my PSN ID it comes up with my normal progress but when i search my EA ID the one that my psn is linked to, it comes up with completely different progress.28Views0likes2CommentsDecided to get back into apex legends & all my skins are gone?
Decided to try out Apex for the first time since 2023. I heard they did an account progression & upon launching I was level 30 and missing everything. I was previously level 500+ with two heirlooms and countless skins I purchased. It seems like the account progression took my PC progress and not my PlayStation progress. Is there anyway I can get my proper account back? I truly miss this game and would love to experience it again, if not it seems like I may just have to quit it for good.13Views0likes1CommentHow to get help with Apex Legends account bans and suspensions
Hey Legends, Is a locked, suspended, or banned EA Account keeping you from accessing Apex Legends? If your thread has been merged here, the information below covers the next steps, including how to check your account status and request a review if you believe the action was applied incorrectly. Please keep in mind that we cannot review, change, or remove account actions here on the forums. Not sure where to start? Sign in to the correct EA Account. If you play on multiple platforms or have more than one EA Account, make sure you're checking the account linked to the platform you use for Apex Legends. Check your EA Account email address for details on the action. We may email you from [email protected] regarding any account action, so be sure it's not being filtered to any spam or junk folders. Check the penalty history tool to see whether your account has an active suspension or ban, along with any available details about the action. Review our Rules of Conduct and Positive Play Charter to better understand the reason an account action may have been issued. If your account is locked rather than suspended or banned, check the account recovery steps first before attempting to submit an appeal. Ready to request a review? If you believe the account action was applied incorrectly, visit the Penalty History page and select the action you'd like to appeal, then follow the on-screen instructions to submit the request. If you don't see the action you want to appeal and have confirmed you're signed into the correct EA Account, check out this EA Help article to review additional details and submit an appeal. What happens next? After creating an appeal you can expect a response from [email protected], or keep an eye on your Case History page for a response once the team has completed their investigation. Each appeal is reviewed by a member of EA's Terms of Service team before a decision is made. While the response you receive may use standard wording, every appeal receives a manual review. If you're no longer able to submit another appeal through the Penalty History page, you've reached the maximum number of reviews available for that action. At that point, the decision is considered final. If your situation isn't covered above, you'll find additional information and answers to common questions in the EA Help article below. EA Account bans, suspensions, and locks: how to appeal and check status As a reminder, forum staff cannot review, change, or overturn any account or game sanctions. Hello EA Support, My EA ID is Amir_qp78. I am having a matchmaking issue in Apex Legends. I can enter the Firing Range normally, but I cannot join any online game mode, including Trios, Ranked, or any other playlist. The game does not show any error message or error code. It just keeps searching and never puts me into a match. I have already tried the recommended troubleshooting steps, but the problem still exists. Could you please check if there is any issue or restriction on my account that is preventing me from joining online matches? Thank you for your time. I would appreciate your help. Here's the same text without bullet points: Before posting here, I went through pretty much every troubleshooting step I could find, but nothing has fixed the issue. I've restarted my PS5 multiple times, completely closed and restarted Apex Legends, power cycled my router/modem, and confirmed my internet connection is stable. I've also reinstalled Apex Legends, switched between multiple different data centers (Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, etc.), and tried matchmaking in every available playlist, including Battle Royale, Ranked, Mixtape, and Firing Range. I've tried queueing solo, verified that my EA account is correctly linked to my PlayStation account, and waited 5–7 days after my account was unbanned in case the changes needed time to propagate. Despite all of these troubleshooting steps, the issue is exactly the same. I can log into the game normally, access the lobby, customize my legends, and play the Training mode without any problems. However, every other mode gets stuck in matchmaking indefinitely. Battle Royale, Ranked, Mixtape, and even Firing Range never load into a game. In normal playlists, the player count doesn't appear at all, and in Firing Range it only briefly shows 1–3 players before never loading. At this point, I'm fairly confident this isn't a console, network, or installation issue. Since the problem only started after my account was unbanned, it seems more likely that my account still has some backend matchmaking restriction or wasn't fully restored after the ban was lifted. Has anyone else experienced this after being unbanned, or does anyone know if there's another account-side check that EA Support can perform?9Views0likes0CommentsBought the battle pass ultimate on the EA store with the wrong email
