Input Delay & prediction error
Subject: Ongoing Input Delay & Prediction Error Issue on Apex Legends (PS5) Hello, I'm experiencing a persistent input delay and prediction error in Apex Legends on PS5. The issue occurs every time I play, regardless of the time of day, and it's especially noticeable in third-person view — I can see a consistent prediction error that never goes away, in the Firing Range. There are no signs of packet loss or lag spikes but you feel it , and if you turn on thirrd persoon mode in firing range you can see the prediction error constantly, and I've already taken the following steps to rule out local issues: Upgraded my internet connection (fiber 300 Mbps). Tested on three different PS5 consoles. Tried multiple monitors and HDMI cables. Changed all relevant in-game and system settings. Enabled/disabled features like VRR, 60/120 FPS, DNS settings, DMZ, and more. After all these tests, it's clear to me that the issue is server-side or engine-related. Here is a video I recorded myself in the Firing Range that clearly shows the prediction error in third-person mode: 👉 https://youtu.be/90zuu7bS8ws?si=4UxAhNTQA01O2Qkp I would really appreciate if someone from EA could contact me to follow up on this issue and provide any help or investigation. This has been ongoing for a long time and is greatly affecting the playability of the game. Thank yougame froze in ranked matchmaking and i got banned for it
the game froze when i was matchmaking, only from my end, client-side crash, i waited in the matchmaking screen or whatever we call it for like 10min or more, the game totally froze and hang on me, i couldn't do anything except kill the game and re-launch it, then apex does this to me, can't they just check their logs or something for what happened instead of banning me for 10min? can't they link this to the game logs? just banning mem for fun? as i was supposed to kill the game, this is stupid from your side apex36Views0likes2CommentsWhite screen when launching apex legends on PSN
Hey, I have never written one of these before. I’ve been having this problem since yesterday- I believe the EA servers crashed at some point. It wasn’t just me who is experiencing this. The Problem comes in where now I am the only one experiencing it still. I was told to reset apex (which I did) where I would be promoted to re-sign into EA Account, (I have not received that message) I reset my PlayStation, Switched my DSN, Unplugged the PlayStation, reset my modem, updated my apex legends, signed out of my PSN signed back in, uninstalled the game reinstalled, and even logging in on a different PSN. Nothing worked- someone please help! I really miss playing apex and don’t know what else to do to fix this!56Views2likes1CommentProgress loss
Hello, I lost my Apex Legends progress after moving from PS4 to PS5. - I played from 2020–2021 on PS4 (300+ hours). - Same PSN account, same email, same EA account. - I recently installed Apex on PS5 and got treated as a new player. - My PS5 system still shows 300+ hours played in Apex Legends (PS4 version). - EA account is correctly linked to my PSN — I've checked on https://myaccount.ea.com. I submitted multiple tickets and attached: - Proof of purchases from 2021 (EA emails), - Screenshot from PS5 system showing game time. EA support keeps replying with unrelated templates like: - “Progress doesn't transfer between PC and PlayStation” (I'm not on PC), - “Try restarting the game” (already done), - “Check your account linking” (already linked). This is not a cross-progression request. I just want my original PS4 progress restored on the same PSN/EA account. **Please escalate this to a Game Data or Account Specialist.** My EA Help Case Number: 215892846 Thanks in advance.14Views0likes0CommentsStrange Sensations and Aim Assist Issues in Apex PC
Strange Sensations and Aim Assist Issues in Apex PC (Season 22 and Later) Since Season 22, I've been experiencing issues with aiming and sensitivity in Apex Legends. The symptoms are occurring both in the Firing Range and in actual matches. It feels like the sensitivity settings I set are being changed unintentionally. Aiming feels unnaturally high or doesn't respond as smoothly as expected. These symptoms are inconsistent and can persist or suddenly disappear, making it difficult to pinpoint the root cause. I've tried everything, including replacing peripherals (controllers, etc.) and testing on all platforms, including PS4 Pro, PS5, and PC, but the same issue occurs on all. Current Settings (PC): CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Sensitivity: 43, Classic Response Curve, Advanced Aim Assist Settings: On Due to file size limitations, a clip showcasing the issue and current settings has been posted to @sekoseko_1234 on Twitter. Please check there for more details. I'd really like to be able to play Apex again, especially in a competitive environment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Glitches in friend lobbies
Whenever i join a friend lobby the game keeps glitching, sometimes crashing sometimes one of us enters the game without the rest of the squad with randoms. I don't know if this is a personal issue or what because the error messages make no sense if any appear in the first place.
