I am having a matchmaking issue in Apex Legends.
Hello EA Support, My EA ID is Amir_qp78. I am having a matchmaking issue in Apex Legends. I can enter the Firing Range normally, but I cannot join any online game mode, including Trios, Ranked, or any other playlist. The game does not show any error message or error code. It just keeps searching and never puts me into a match. I have already tried the recommended troubleshooting steps, but the problem still exists. Could you please check if there is any issue or restriction on my account that is preventing me from joining online matches? Thank you for your time. I would appreciate your help. Here's the same text without bullet points: Before posting here, I went through pretty much every troubleshooting step I could find, but nothing has fixed the issue. I've restarted my PS5 multiple times, completely closed and restarted Apex Legends, power cycled my router/modem, and confirmed my internet connection is stable. I've also reinstalled Apex Legends, switched between multiple different data centers (Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, etc.), and tried matchmaking in every available playlist, including Battle Royale, Ranked, Mixtape, and Firing Range. I've tried queueing solo, verified that my EA account is correctly linked to my PlayStation account, and waited 5–7 days after my account was unbanned in case the changes needed time to propagate. Despite all of these troubleshooting steps, the issue is exactly the same. I can log into the game normally, access the lobby, customize my legends, and play the Training mode without any problems. However, every other mode gets stuck in matchmaking indefinitely. Battle Royale, Ranked, Mixtape, and even Firing Range never load into a game. In normal playlists, the player count doesn't appear at all, and in Firing Range it only briefly shows 1–3 players before never loading. At this point, I'm fairly confident this isn't a console, network, or installation issue. Since the problem only started after my account was unbanned, it seems more likely that my account still has some backend matchmaking restriction or wasn't fully restored after the ban was lifted. Has anyone else experienced this after being unbanned, or does anyone know if there's another account-side check that EA Support can perform? How to get help with Apex Legends account bans and suspensions
Hey Legends, Is a locked, suspended, or banned EA Account keeping you from accessing Apex Legends? If your thread has been merged here, the information below covers the next steps, including how to check your account status and request a review if you believe the action was applied incorrectly. Please keep in mind that we cannot review, change, or remove account actions here on the forums. Not sure where to start? Sign in to the correct EA Account. If you play on multiple platforms or have more than one EA Account, make sure you're checking the account linked to the platform you use for Apex Legends. Check your EA Account email address for details on the action. We may email you from [email protected] regarding any account action, so be sure it's not being filtered to any spam or junk folders. Check the penalty history tool to see whether your account has an active suspension or ban, along with any available details about the action. Review our Rules of Conduct and Positive Play Charter to better understand the reason an account action may have been issued. If your account is locked rather than suspended or banned, check the account recovery steps first before attempting to submit an appeal. Ready to request a review? If you believe the account action was applied incorrectly, visit the Penalty History page and select the action you'd like to appeal, then follow the on-screen instructions to submit the request. If you don't see the action you want to appeal and have confirmed you're signed into the correct EA Account, check out this EA Help article to review additional details and submit an appeal. What happens next? After creating an appeal you can expect a response from [email protected], or keep an eye on your Case History page for a response once the team has completed their investigation. Each appeal is reviewed by a member of EA's Terms of Service team before a decision is made. While the response you receive may use standard wording, every appeal receives a manual review. If you're no longer able to submit another appeal through the Penalty History page, you've reached the maximum number of reviews available for that action. At that point, the decision is considered final. If your situation isn't covered above, you'll find additional information and answers to common questions in the EA Help article below. EA Account bans, suspensions, and locks: how to appeal and check status As a reminder, forum staff cannot review, change, or overturn any account or game sanctions. Hello, I need help recovering my original Apex Legends account. I have always played Apex Legends on the same PlayStation Network account. A while ago, my email account was compromised. During that time, I somehow ended up with a different EA account. Now, when I launch Apex Legends on my PS5, I only get a brand new level 1 account. I have recovered access to my email address, but when I sign in with that email, it logs me into the newer EA account instead of my original one. My original Apex Legends EA ID was Nikolajnica. Could someone from EA please help me find the original EA account that was linked to my PlayStation Network account and restore my progress? Thank you.Solved27Views0likes2CommentsRe; Matchmaking loop

Hello, not sure if anyone else experiences this - whenever I join up with a friend, there is either no audio until we load into the game or as I join the lobby it won’t show me that we’re both readied up. If I’m already in a party and leave after a game to go back to the lobby, I lose audio again and even if my 2nd and 3rd are also back in the lobby, it just darkens their character as if they were still playing a round. Then I have to leave and rejoin just to fix it. This happens on PlayStation 5 and I’ve gone through all my privacy settings, everything is open to anyone and I even get it with people I know so it’s quite frustrating. Sometimes it even says “unable to join party” after accepting the invite, I have to manually go to the friend’s name and click Join from there; without an invite. If anyone has any work arounds - besides leaving and rejoining - it would greatly be appreciated.Orphaned Progression after Cross-Progression - Data missing from BOTH accounts
Hello EA Community and Support Team (specifically EA_Mako), I am facing a critical issue where my entire account progression (Level, unlocked Legends, Skins, Stats, etc.) has become orphaned and is inaccessible on any of my EA Accounts following a Cross-Progression linking error in November 2023. This is the situation: I originally played Apex Legends for dozens of hours on PS4 (reaching a 350+ in game level, having tons of cosmetics and BP since season 1 and investing quite a lot of money). My original PSN account, named "Tricky_Husli" (formerly "MGErmacking64" before a name change), was originally linked to an EA account called MGErmacking64, where I invested a lot of time and money. In November 2023, I disconnected my PSN account from that EA account to try to transfer it to another account called HusliDFrog in an attempt to cross-save. This resulted in my PSN content account being missing, where all my progress was stored. Later, after trying to recover that lost content, I saw many people commenting that by disconnecting and reconnecting the account to their original EA account, the content would be recovered, since the data is saved in the EA account. In an attempt to recover this content, I reconnected my PSN account to its original EA account (MGErmacking64), where I found that I was now also level 1, as if it were my first time entering the game. So now as I have been reading, It appears to be orphaned on the server side due to the unlinking process in late 2023. I have proof of ownership (purchase receipts, old mails, and probably i have some old screenshots on my PS4 playing the game) and i can verify any details required. I've seen that many users have been able to recover their accounts in very similar situations, so I sincerely ask please for a response and if there is any way to manually restore the orphaned data. In any case, thank you very much for your attention and for reading this message. I hope it's possible to resolve this somehow. ACCOUNTS: <removed> I don't want to post the emails in a public forum, so please, if you need more information, I can add it if necessary. Hello, When I join my friends’ lobby (they are on Xbox or PC and I am on PS5), we very rarely manage to start a match together. Most of the time, they load into the game without me, even though I am in the party before they start matchmaking. On my side, I stay in the lobby or get stuck on the loading screen while they are already in the match. To make it work, we have to restart the game several times (both me and my friends), and after a few attempts it sometimes works when we are only 2 in the lobby, never when we are three, but it is very inconsistent and unreliable. This makes it almost impossible to play together. Troubleshooting already tried: Restarted the game and the console multiple times. Cleared the PS5 cache (full power down, unplug, etc.). Rebuilt the data base. Checked that crossplay is enabled in the game settings. Re‑added friends via EA IDs. Tried different data centers/servers. Tested my internet connection (stable and working fine with other online games). Deleted the game and reinstalled it. Can you fix the issue ?Unable to unlink PlayStation account – unlink button is greyed out
Hello, I need help with unlinking my PlayStation Network account from the wrong EA account. My original Apex Legends account was linked to my PlayStation account. My original EA ID was Nikolajnica. After my email was compromised, I ended up with a different EA account and now Apex Legends starts with a new level 1 account. I was told that I need to unlink my PlayStation account and link it to the correct EA account, but the Unlink button is greyed out and I cannot click it. Could you please help me unlink my PlayStation Network account or restore the correct EA account connection so I can get my original Apex Legends progress back? Thank you.10Views0likes1Comment
