Alternatively you can google the manufacturer of the mouse and check for driver updates.

I have Razer synapse which is up to date. The only "driver" existing is the Synapse program for any razer peripherals

What version do you have and what mouse do you have? i had a issue ages ago where the software didnt updade altho there was one availible
- 7 years agoI have Synapse 2.0 and using Deathadder Chroma, i have checked multiple times for updates and tried to reinstalled synapse as well

Okay, try this:
Right click your windows icon and open device manager.
under Human interface devices and mice and other pointing devices, update the drivers under the name of your mouse.
Other users (other forums) report cable issues with there mouses.
try moving the mouse cable in random angles and see if it disconnects.
