So when I launch my game I sometimes get the EAC error but after trying a couple of times I get in the game, but my game always crashes in the lobby as soon as I click basically anything. Most of the times I don't even make it in the lobby when my game already crashes. I have repaired my game countless times and I tried re-installing it and re-installing it to a different drive. Nothing works. I can't play the game. I would like a fix for this because I paid for the battlepass and I would like to be able to play the game. This started happening after Season 5 launch. Also my friend did a post about this and it got moved to a threat where the solve was to install the game on an ssd. I do not have an ssd so I can't do that, and also buying new pc parts should not be the solution when my game has been working perfectly fine before.

GPU: RTX 2060

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x

16gb ddr4 ram

@hotboys_keta try repairing your game by going to origin launcher right click on apex legend and then "repair" to see if that fix the problem

am launching the game from steam and there is nothing such as repair in it (steam)

Have you tried verifying the integrity of the game files in Steam? That may help. You can find more information on how to verify the game files at the Steam Support website.

Sorry for the reply after the thread's gone silent, I have the exact same problem as user @SPEEDYGON7ALES with audio cuts and everything he described, as well as having the game run normally for a few times until the same error pops up and crashes again. Repairs on both steam and origin does not help at all, uninstalled and reinstalled a lot of times with the same error coming back each time. Uninstalling and reinstalling, repairing or playing on either platform of steam and origin don't make a difference, the error returns regardless of which one I play on

I actually faced the same issue recently. I have done format my pc to either windows 10 or windows 11 still same thing happen. Tried all the troubleshooting (verify game, reinstall)

In some cases errors like this can pop up when the game language has been changed. Did you manually change the audio language the game is using?
