WORKING SOLUTION!
1)Delete the whole "Respawn" folder located in "C:\Users\"Your username"\Saved Games\"
Really,it's as easy as that
2)then just open the game.

I had this issue with my Xbox one series S. After reading all the issues related to PC and no options to fix via Xbox, I’ve figured myself. Go to the game on Xbox press START to see options > manage game and add-ons >Saved Data > reserved space > clear reserved space. Reload the game and this should fix the issue, if issue re-occurs follow same steps again 🙂
