Re: Apex freeze/crash after a few seconds after today's update

I have the same after today's around 100mb patch. Instantly crashing after main title/menu, sometimes even before that with black screen and the red Apex Legends logo in the right corner.

For all others: EA App version of Apex Legends seems to work fine for me, at least I can get to the menu/lobby.

My specs:

-GPU: Gainward GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Phantom GS
-CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X
-RAM: Kingston 32GB Fury Beast DDR5 RGB 6000MHz CL36
-MB: Gigabyte B650E AORUS MASTER
-M.2:Samsung 980 PRO NVMe 2TB PCIe 4.0
-M.2.2: WD Black SN850X NVMe 2TB PCIe 4.0
-PSU: be quiet! Dark Power 13 1000W TITANIUM ATX 3.0/PCIe 5.0

NVIDIA Driver version: 560.94 WHQL.

There were no issue prior, and I haven't had crashes in Apex in two-three years - until today's patch again.

hi @tonderr  So you can play with the EA app version? or just sitting in the menu? If I start the EA app version I have to download a 12GB update because I usually use steam, and now I cant.. so should I start downloading or just wait for a miracle. Thank you
