None of those things helped, now it won't download at all. I did have it working fine until this last Friday, then all of a sudden it kept coming up with something about running in windows compatibility mode so I uninstalled it to try and get rid but now getting this download issue.

Hi, as I can't get this * to work I have uninstalled Origins and the game completely, I would like my £7.99 refunded for the season 1 battle pack I purchased and will find another way of playing this game, if your company decided to pull your finger out your * and get your download site to actually download games on to peoples pc properly without any issues then get back to me at [edit: email address removed], that's my main email account ok.

lol same to me i got a new internet but apex kept on crashing ,no support from ea forum helped , it kept saying to "restart the installation " how the * am i gonna do that. and when i tried downloading a second install pack it said "web crashed " like damn i cant play the game now ??

Do you have any other programs currently running in the background? If you have Fortnite/Epic Games running it caused that for these players.

I searched "Restributable Package" and that error code in the Answers HQ search bar and there will be multiple posts with workaround solutions that show up. It's hard to pinpoint an exact solution for this because some steps might work for some but not all, so it's worth to check those out.
