Everyone! This method worked for me. Open Killer Network Control -> disable Advance Stream Detect.. 10 games plus with no freezing.  

where do you go to find killer network control

I just searched for it in the windows search bar on the bottom left of my desktop screen.  

I just can't play this game. I've done every single fix or hint I've crossed and it won't work. Played maybe a total of 8 games and died to freezes around 5 of them. I've disabled streaming sync, I've tried tanking my graphic settings, I didn't have killer control center but installed it only to disable advance stream detect. I've been to the origin app and disabled save files and pretty much everything they say is a fix but nothing works.

I haven't found a single explanation about the red speedometer on the top right either when I tried to find out what it actually mean.

All I know, is when I play training or the royale game mode the game will freeze me for about 10-15sec where I can just look around and get peppered full of holes without even knowing. 

I know all other games work properly for me, only apex (only origin game I have) have this issue.

Guess I'll have to chill a month or something.

This method worked for me also pretty sure anyways. Serveral matches finally I can enjoy the game thanks.

Im having the same issue its so frustrating when you freeze mid fight and unfreeze dead! EA FIX THIS!

I think the problem is the hard drive. The same problem it has on ps4 and they fix. If you have SSD just move it on your SSD. The reason they freeze the game it's the rending. They need faster rendering if you don't have a good HDD. And this problem the coming on the object you if they close you, other players, the computer starting again rendering the models (champions) or object if he does not do it quickly to finish the rendering the algorithm that has passed have not ordered the continuation of the render and freezing. And that's all because of its optimization to better to play the computer. But they have not settled it on its subject If this happens, then one continued to render else stop render.

They said it is a network issue... but this exactly happens randomly in game to me...

Had the same issue, I started with moving the game to my SSD drive because I had similar symptomps with another game (Dota 2) when it was on the HDD.

It didn't help much or at all.

I also saw a post from Killer employee in this topic (they really found this topic and replied to it - nice!) asking us to update the Killer drivers and report the result to them - will try that later.

For some people asking about the Killer Network Control - if you don't have it, you probably need to keep on searching for your solution..

Killer is a brand of network cards, and this is their driver/utility that allows control of the network card.

Check your Windows Device Manager if you have a Killer network adapter at all first.

I'm glad that it worked for you ! 

In the meantime i've seen the post from Killer employee, and i followed the guide for a complete removal of Killer Network Control - Afterwards i installed the newest version 2.0.x..

The new update seems to have fixed this issue aswell


I'm not aware if a complete removal via the tool they made is actually necessary, but you might aswell i suppose

I had to change the cpu thermal paste and I decided to format all disks and go for a fresh installation of windows 10.

Once installed and downloaded all drivers and programs, included Killer Control Center (the latest version), I played Apex without any freeze or other problems! 

I suggest to follow the instructions given by Killer network employee in this thread (second page), the new version should fix everything.

I will try it, because I'm desperate.... but no way in HELL it is going to work.

Yeah, as i suspected, this did not help AT all!

ALSO! I formatted my entire computer, started from scratch with only Driver, Origin and Apex Legends.
Game still freezes. Respawn, what the actuall hell! Why are you not commenting on this issue?!
Why are you not fixing it?!

I just died in the first 3 minutes of the game, 3 games in a row because of these freeze bugs with
a newly formatted machine with only driver and the game.

Deleting the game now.

Okey, posting this as a tips/hint/warning to others that might be in the same position as me.

It is regarding the Killer Controll Center fix... I have NEVER EVER installed or used this app.
I also have a fresh windows install, but seems like windows update has installed this app on my behalf, 
without me knowing. I brushed that fix off since i've never seen or heard of that app, but turns out, I've got it!
Trying the "Disable Advanced Stream" fix now. Looking forward to see if it helps!
Discovered that I hadd the app by mistake after opening the windows menu, and typing "k", suddenly it just popped up.

Be sure to do the same to check if you have it too, even if you have not installed it or used it, ever!

I never used it. Is it free and does it work on all network cards ?

i think it's a program only for the killer network cards
