Easy Anti Cheat blocks RTSS.exe and sees it as an cheat engine. You have to either dont launch it when you play or even uninstall it completly from your PC. EAC is notorious and known for stuff like that but you can try update Afterburner to newest version that maybe is whitelisted I said maybe because they also are known for not updating their * at all. You cant use it while playing games with this anti cheat.
I uninstalled RTSS. rebooted and I launched the game, still saying "Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000D) [LightningService.exe]
I have no idea what this is, any ideas?
This .exe is releated to ASUS Aura software which you also have to uninstall/completly disable. I assume its pre-installed software that you got when you bought your PC/Laptop and theres even possibility that you actually cant disable or uninstall that so you wont play because Easy Anti Cheat sees that as an cheat some sort. I dont own any ASUS Hardware so I do not know how these executables and services are named so you have to search in google and manually disable them in msconfig - try to run Clean Boot it should help.
I use Asus Aura and have no issues launching the game. Doubt it's that. (i do have my lights on static though, if that makes any difference)
i have uninstalled RTSS though, previously, in favor of nvidia inspector to limit my fps.
