Re: Apex Legends Stuttering (Unplayable Game)

Oh I had no idea. I’m not a tech person. Os there anyway to delete it or is it permanently there?

    Hello everybody,

after trying so many things I finally found the solution to fix my stuttering problems. After I deactivated IPv6 I had no more problems.

    1. Close Apex.

    2. Go to control panel -> Network Settings -> Adapter Configuration. I'm german so I'm not sure if the translation is right. This is the path in german:

    Systemsteuerung\Netzwerk und Internet\Netzwerkverbindungen

    3. Rightclick on the Adapter of your Internet Connection (mine is called "Ethernet") and deactivate "Internet Protocol, Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)".

I hope that helps most of you. Please let me know if it helped you :-)

  • This is how you actually fix it. You need an SSD, I bought a 225 gb SSD for 30$. Connect the ssd, right click on the game in origin and moved the files to the ssd. Then go into windows advanced settings, virtual memory and put 8000mb minimum with 10000 max virtual memory on the ssd. After years of stuttering game works perfect. I can now run the game, have discord open, stream, and increased my field of view from 70 to 110 and the game runs flawlessly. Hdd's are too slow, I suspect this is the same issue on PC and XBOX. I've been playing for a week since I got the ssd and have not had a single stutter. I've also achieved the highest rank I've ever had.

@TheOfficialAG99 It may be on RESPAWNS end, I'm on Xbox & have crazy LAG spikes during matches.

My PING is usually between 30ms-40ms but once I'm in a match, it will spike to 70ms-110ms sometimes, making the game unplayable.
