0x800001 Failure of Game Integrity

I recently redownloaded the game after not playing for a while, and have been nonstop dealing with the 0x800001 error. I have tried in admin command prompt:

1) DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
2) sfc /scannow

which both ran and said there were no problems

Checked to make sure I am on the most up to date windows 11, 24H2. Tried deleting the Easy Anti-Cheat within the apex folder and did a verify integrity of game files. Tried deleting the Respawn folder from /user/Saved Games. Tried putting -dx11 in steam launch options. Tried uninstalling and redownloading in Steam twice and once in the EA launcher. Updated to the latest graphics card drivers. Tried putting the apex and easy anti-cheat executable in launch in admin mode.

I keep getting the 0x800001 error around 10-15 minutes after start up and have not found a solution that works.

Same issue. Started a few days ago. I've tried everything I can find. Seems to be an issue with EAC or possibly corrupted system files. Tried Uninstalling apex, deleting EAC, verifying game files. EAC setup will open for a millisecond and close. I've seen alot of people open EAC setup and a window pops up with a repair game drop down but mine doesnt do that even running as administrator. Added EAC to whitelist in windows anti-virus, no help. Only thing I've seen work for people is restoring to a previous point in windows or a fresh windows install. I had to do a fresh install of windows several times the past few months and dont feel like going through that process again. Might try a restore point to see how that works.

  • did anyone find a fix yet? I have also done the same attempts to fix it, nothing has worked. Please let me know when a fix has been found

I reformatted my entire pc, updated bios, new install of windows, only to play fine for 6 hours before getting my account perma banned. I think i figured out what it was that got me banned. I had recently saved my Logitech g hub apex profile to my mouses on board memory. I did this because sometimes after starting my computer and loading into apex, my game hub binds weren't loaded while playing. I only put bids to my mouse that were withing ToS, however, I think EAC was flagging because my mouse showed saved data to it. I deleted that profile from my mouse and played on an alt account and it seems to have fixed it. Im still banned but I put in a dispute and the ban shows lifted from my EA account. Whenever I try to load my account on apex it still says im banned. When I get back home from vacation, im going to submit another dispute asking why I cant log in yet. Hope this helps.
