Re: Code:Snake Banned with no reason

I have contacted support 3 times already and I continue to get the same answer, "you have no penalties on your account". I was told to go to a live chat if I was unable to play the game, however, there is no option for a live chat anywhere. Where do I go and how do I start a live chat?

    What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Just playing
    Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
    How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 2

    How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)

    Heya.

    I have seen some more error code snake topics come across, and the answer on the forum is the contact EA support. I did, and I just get a generic answer to check my connectivity, even tho error code snake is prescribed as a temp ban. EA even responded to my ticket with "Hi UNKNOWN", even though my ticket was made through my EA account. This makes me doubt they will even take it serious, so I was wondering what I could do, or where I should contact maybe, because this is just a half assed answer.

    @Hinfrem Keep calm and continue beta testing the game šŸ™‚

    Let's be honest company that makes money and has 100 million or whatever user base will not give much attention to you, me or couple, couple hundred or even thousand unhappy users.

    a) they still have 99.99999999% of their user pool at least not complaining
    b) you/me/anyone is not forced to continue playing, take it or leave it so to say šŸ™‚
  • I keep getting code snake during ranked matches only. Must've lost a few hundred ranked points plus the penalties. What gives?

    Code snake is meant for a ban? but then I just have to wait out the abandon penalty to play again... have changed banners and poses and what not when the bug was first noted but no change...

    Really makes playing unejoyable.

  • Has anybody made any progress? I've tried contacting ToS many times but it's pretty obvious it is overlooked and dismissed as a properly given ban. 

    Come on, it's pretty easy to figure out something is going on with this wave of false bans. You can find many posts on Twitter, reddit and in here. 

    How come we get permanent bans out of the blue, no warning before, no chance to appeal for it.

    We seriously need help to recover our accounts. This season is practically over so we already miss on the last rewards of our already bought season pass, not to mention all the previously bought skins and whatnot. 

    Can we be helped here?

  • @Mocomero as for me no news and no progress at all. Still banned since the beginning of September.
    I'm intrested to see what happens with the new season/patch coming next week. But my hopes are very low...
  • Yep same here.  I've given up.  Been banned since the 17th or 18th so not as long as you.  Have tried around 5 emails to ToS team.  3 live chats all of which were escalated to ToS team (even when I asked them to not bother).  Most of those live chats my questions were dodged or ignored.  Received conflicting information at different times from both chats and emails.  I even had a conversation with the EA Help twitter account in DMs where they admitted I had been given misinformation.

    Pretty sure we're all *.  Also im 90% sure there is actually no ToS Team.  All cases being sent to them are just met with auto-replies.  I don't think I've seen a single instance of someone interacting with a human from this 'team'.

    Is there any news if the new season patch will address any of the hundreds of false bans?  Or is it time to uninstall and move on?

    Please don't bother referring to the ToS team.  We all know they don't exist.
