Hey @EA_Barry, thanks for the reply. Here is what I tried so far:

-Verified the integrity game files as you suggested

    - I uninstalled and re-installed the game twice

-Tried running the r5apex.exe in compatibility mode for windows 7

-Created steam and apex legends exceptions in my security system

    -Updated my nvidia driver

    -Cleared my local files

    -Cleared my %temp% files

-Repaired the easy anti cheat engine with the "Repair Service" button

Any other input to consider is appreciated 🙂

    Cheers,

    Roy

  • Just had the same problem on my laptop! A simple restart fixed the problem for me... No idea what was wrong.

  • I tried to launch the game Apex Legends but it didn't work because the game thinks it is already running even though It has not. This bug has happened to me for a few days and ever since I could not play Apex Legends because of this bug. I have tried multiple ways to fix this including fixing easy anti-cheat, restarting the PC, changing Wi-Fi, ending tasks in the task manager, logging out of EA, etc. However, to this day I am still unable to play the game.

i tried to clear the cache,it did not help
