Having the same issue now. Last time I had it, I had to wait for the following patch (more than a week) which (I guess) accidentally fixed the issue.

Hello guys ! The problem I'm facing right now is that whenever I finish downloading apex and the game should be installed and ready to play ,  after a split second the download process is at the beginning , installing it all again . It's like an infinite loop , whenever the download finishes , it sort-of deletes itself and starts to download again . I really need some help because I've never seen something like this before and I have no clue what might be producing this problem . Hope to receive some help soon ! Thanks !!

That, or download it from steam (if you can). Only the EA app has this infinite loop problem, steam does just fine.

I have the same problem. I tried contacting the support but no results. The problem still exists

same problem, did repair and now did the unistall and install apex and it never stops looping after 99% it goes again.

I did run EA app as administrator,

Its allowed by anyvirus etc.

Cmon EA reply with solutions...

I have the same problem,I have already written to support for 4 days but nothing helped.

I wanted to download apex after resetting my pc, but everytime the download would finish, it keeps restarting. My wifi and internet connection is good, never had any issues downloading any games before.

Connect to your router directly with a cable rather than via Wi-Fi if you can.

Hi guys 

There is a server issue for me going on, no data center found. It keeps showing me “downloading..0” what can i do?

tried restart, tried basically everything except for removing the game and reinstalling 

Just a few days ago, i disinstalled Apex and re-installed that way i could change the language in game.

As i finished the Download, (70+ GB) it just re-downloaded again the whole 70+GB. Im blocked in a downloading cicle without any progress.

I tried to set the language back, but it keeps download, i tried to clear the cache, didn't work, i tried to disintall the EA app and reinstall it again, didn't work

I will not create another account, or so i will lose my progress, either i think that downloading from Steam won't do the trick. 

What should I do?

This is one of the most illogical answers here. Tip: installing another game (for example Sims 4) on exactly the same account and computer does not cause such problems, so even 5 cables connected to the router does not solve the problem. Are you AI or what !?

Today its happening over and over again! I already reinstalled EA App, downloaded this game for like 6 times today. Changed destination folder for download of this game and nothing helped, after 100% of game downloaded it iwll start downloading again from 1%. All files in folder from thath game are with _DiP_Staged adn nothing is helping. IM REALLY TIRED OF THIS! How to make it work?

For anyone else struggling with this or similar problem (in my example downloading the whole game and after reaching 100% starting again in a loop forever). It’s true, clear cache might or might not work. I find an easier way to do that but you need steam. You need to install apex legends on steam then open browse game directory and paste whole apex folder to the place where you install EA games. Then you need to delete folders: „_installer”, „crashpad”, „EasyAntiCheat” (if _installer and crashpad is already missing don’t worry). And you also need to delete files „installscript.vdf”, „r5apex.exe” and „r5apexdata.bin”

before launching EA Desktop app make sure to end EA Background Services in task manager. Then open the EA Desktop and download Apex Legends to the directory when you copy the steam version. After setting app you should SEE verification and calculating. You should see the remaining download will be around 200MB’s. To make sure you did everything correct while calculating go to task manager and check network usage. If done correctly the game will install in a minute without any troubles. Don’t hesitate to ask if something’s wrong. I also search for an answer for around 20 hours before deciding to handle this by myself.
