Re: High VRAM usage causes lag! Help!

That's definitely strange. I don't think I've run into this issue myself after playing for extended periods of time. I wonder if the issue is something within the game installation itself that could be causing this. It may sound odd, but can you try repairing the game in Origin to see if that makes any difference at all? If something in the game installation is corrupted that may help fix this.

If you right-click on Apex Legends in your Origin Library you should see a Repair option in the menu that pops up.

I've reinstalled the game several times and that does'nt seem to do anything.
Although i've noticed that by putting stream budget to none actually seems to be capping the vram usage to around 2000MB.
So i guess im going to be playing on that if i can't find other fixes.
This all seems really weird since my graphics card has 8gb of vram.

Have you tried a clean install of your GPU drivers?
It maybe a bad driver install.
Use this to uninstall: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Then download the latest driver from here:
https://www.amd.com/en/support
