Re: i can't play 4:3 resolution on full screen

I feel * up with this *! how is it possible not to support 4: 3 resolution in this game ?, i already feel uncomfortable having to play in this crap resolution with black bars, and now comes another bomb with season 6 that finished * with a game that looked like promised a lot! I got tired of this *, this game you spend more time trying to stabilize the game than you are playing, enough I'm going to uninstall it, I'm tired of stressing out!

I need to understand why my native 1280x1024 monitor can't play this game in full screen, it has to be this * with a black border that gets in the way, that's all I wanted to know, AND a bunch of ignoramuses other than their users talking alone * u, I just wanted a * answer because this prejudice of not letting my screen stay in full screen has already made my patience worse!

CAN WE HAVE A SURPRISE . AND MAYBE HAVE A FIX IN SETTINGS THAT SAYS 4:3 STRETCHED??? OR SOMEKIND OF A  RESPONSE IN THE MATTER ?

my monitor will thank you if you come back with full screen 4: 3 again, i can't stand playing in cinematic mode anymore, * up my visibility!

This is something that i wrote *6 months* ago on reddit

4:3 players...

To be honest the most important thing that i had hoped for, is a fix for the players who just want to play on stretched 4:3. we waited so long for it to come back... or at least a feedback from devs or whoever is capable to fix this in their team that its in progress.
I think its been requested almost 2 months now...
the more time past, the more we are assure that our complaints are been thrown to the trash and no one gives a s***.

There is a solution. Add the following to the launch parameters: -windowed -w 1024 -h 768 + mat_letterbox_aspect_goal 0 + mat_letterbox_aspect_threshold 0 + building_cubemaps "1. Save and we open windowed mode. Press ALT + ENTER and the game unfolds without black bars in the game. In the field  -w -h enter your permission.

im familiar with this method thank you, but unfortunately its not good because when you alt tab from  the game it  goes to black bars again...
there was a time where you were able to write the mat_letterbox commands in launch options with no problem of alt tabbing from the game 

more then than that, i don't think that people need to mess around with this type of commands in the first place and creating autoexec files for this kind matter just for a resolution. why is it not available in the regular video settings like most FPS games...
