@Kasparelo If the Epic Games launcher says you have to install the game, due to it not detecting its installed through Steam, then yes, you'll have to install it through Epic Games or the EA App in order for it to work.

I've heard players were able to move their download folder from one launcher to another and having the launcher validate files from there. So, if you move where its installed through Steam, name the folder from "Apex Legends" to "Apex", then move it to where it would be installed through Origin/EA App, it should cut down on the download time.
