Re: integrity error 0x8000001

@080745992c5b583f  Judging by the screenshot, you have Apex installed on Steam.

Try to repair the game's files on Steam by:

- Click on the game in your Steam library

- On the right side of the launcher, click on the gear icon

- Click on "properties"

- Click on "installed files"

- Click on "verify integrity of game files", once that's finished, try booting up the game again.

@080745992c5b583f Hmm, when I look up, "integrity error 0x8000001", it says something about corrupted files, so something else you can try is to repair your system's files.

Note: This process won't require you to reinstall Windows as it would only check and repair the system files.

Here's how to repair the system's files:

    Spoiler
    - Open the Command Prompt in administrator mode

    - Type, "DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" (without the quotes), and wait for it to finish.

Note: DISM stands for "Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool". It often repairs Microsoft related files, such as issues with Window apps. Some problems with the next file checker can only be fixed after running this one first.

    - Now type, "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes), and wait for it to finish.

Note: sfc stands for "System File Checker". This one will repair system files, (such as important Windows drivers).

    - Lastly, restart your PC.
Note: If you run into the problem where the corrupted files are unable to be repaired, I would contact Microsoft Support for assistance. They would be able to walk you through on how to repair the corrupted files that weren't repairable. Luckily, in most cases the repair process is able to fix the corrupted files.

I have the same problem, i'm on debian 12. Game crashing randomly (between 1 or 3 games). I verified integrity files on steam and check on the system, but it did not resolve the issue.

    Don't know what to do...

@Nopsprizen From those who had the issue, they had mentioned that repairing their system's files had fixed the issue for them. Some had to reinstall AMD Adrenaline Software, while others had to update their system/drivers.

The main solution being repairing the system's files. I've mentioned how to do that here.

@Nopsprizen  The only other thing I can think of that could be causing the issue, is another program running. If you have a program like AHK, DS4, and/or reWASD, those programs would need to be turned off while playing the game.

From what I'm understanding, so far you've tried:

    - Repairing the game
    - Repairing the system

    Anything else?

@Midnight9746 I didnt use ds4 or reWASD also the method you mentioned just what I did.
For now not only apex crash also Valorant and CS2
(I also reinstalled the system twice still not working)

@Nopsprizen Hmm, in that case then I don't know of any other solution for the integrity error, but if there's another thing you could try, I'd be sure to let you know.

@Midnight9746 the only thing i know now , it looks like memory issue so i set my memory frequency from 6000mhz to 5600 and reinstall the game hope it could work
  • I recently updated the game and when i booted it up i get this same error message " integrity error 0x8000002 due to external tool " i have no third party controller drivers installed and i scrolled up and down too many times in task manger to find out what background process causing this issue.
