Re: Launching Game Causes Reboot in Menu

Hey, a clean reinstall of your GPU drivers is a useful step for something like this, I think you're on the right track to think it's driver related.

Also, checking for critical events in the Event Viewer can be great for figuring out what's going on here, you can find it by typing the name in the search bar. I recently used it to track down a non-game driver-related crash on a personal machine.

Also, your post was made in bug reports, but this appears to be more of a tech issue so we'll relocate your post to that board.

  • @EA_David After doing a clean reinstall of my Nvidia drivers, and restarting the game, the issue is still persisting.

I dug through the event viewer for the events leading up to the crash. It looks like Windows registers the game's anti-cheat then pretty much immediately crashes. There are no errors leading up to the crash. A critical event is logged after boot that tells me the Kernel experienced a boot fault during the previous session, but that's it.

  • I was able to fix the issue by selecting a new bios version to update to. Thanks for your input David!
