@Locolind64 Instead of of writing -window try -fullscreen if that wont help try to manually change resolution and to full screen within config file thats located in C:\Users\Your User Name\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local. Files name is videoconfig change these lines:
"setting.defaultres" "here put your desired width"
"setting.defaultresheight" "and height""setting.fullscreen" "1"
- Thanks for the quick reply I'll try that! Appreciate it
- Tried it, the settings in the videoconfig file were already 1920x1080 and fullscreen on 1. And the only way to launch it now is to write -window in advanced settings. In game the resolution is stuck on 1280x720 and unable to change it and go on to full screen. Tried most things now. Clean boot, repair, reinstalling, updating all drivers etc. Oh well.
Maybe try to change your overall desktop resolution for a time you play the game.
- That will work, but having to change the whole desktop resolution before playing a game isn't really a fix.
@vKEVUv This actually worked thx m8
I tried everyway i knew...like restoring my nvidia control pannel settings, the videoconfig thing, re downloading the game but still i cant change my (Resolution and Aspect Ratio) in game...Aspect Ratio is stuck at 16:9 and Resolution is stuck on 1920x1080 and i cant change it...and because of this i cant get a good fps even with lowering the other settings...please help
I also was able to change them before the Christmas update (Srry for bad English)Ok so i found a * fix. Go to the config files as people stated here, change resolution to 1920 1080, make fulscreen 0 and window 1, then on the origin launch command for the game set height and width and then run the game. It will show up as windowed screen in whatever resolution u put in for the launch command. Now focus on window then press alt+enter. It will scale full screen. Remember for this to work u need to have scale fullscreen option or maintain aspect ratio option enabled for your display.
My resolution increased now -_- Can't change anymore to custom resolutions such as 1024x576 or 800x600, only thing allowed is 1024x768, which is significantly worse for my framerate
(yes, I am a no Graphic card peasant but I can't help it).
