Re: Packet loss and cannot load into a match from lobby (code clock)

I have been having the same issue with Apex legends. I have been having packet loss and I don't load into games sometimes. I am very frustrated because of this issue and I hope it can be sorted out by EA. I have 5 friends who also have this issue aswell.

    Hey all, if still seeing an issue after trying the steps I shared above then please speak with your ISP in relation to your connection.

  • We have contacted our ISP. The issues are only on apex legends. I play call of duty and fortnite and do not have these issues on those games. Our ISP is not the issue. The servers of apex legends is the issue.

  • I have contacted my isp they said everything is fine I’ve played other games like fortnite , Overwatch and cod , I have no packets on those games it’s only apex and it’s inconsisent if I have packets or not in a game

    Hey all, just because other games work fine does not mean at it is not a connection issue. 

    I'd recommend speaking with your ISP again and seeing what they can recommend.

  • I’ve contacted my isp again they said everything is good on their end , recently played a match had packet loss after contacting them and reset internet after. ( server I played on Frankfurt 2) 

  • I've also been experiencing this problem since season 12 dropped, 90% of the time i don't even load into a game when my teammates do. Then the few games that i do load into i will have 80% packet loss. Its only this game where this problem occurs, I've done packet loss tests and confirmed its not my internet, I've tried everything from changing my net channel to changing my DNS and everything in between, after a month of this i contacted my ISP who said that there isn't anything wrong on their end and i should just stop playing the game if it doesn't work. I've spent thousands of dollars on events and apex packs since season 2 and now I cannot even use them. If this problem is not fixed I will have to quit playing Apex ☹️ ... And its clearly not a rare issue as i know at least 7 friends with the same issue with different service providers and platforms, not to mention all these poor souls in this forum whose problems are just being ignored. Absolutely sad to see this from such a lovely game. 

  • Hi CM, I've been looking for a thread like this to be able to reply to. I'm currently in the same situation as the other members of the community in this post. I've been struggling with random packet loss during matches. These packet loss occurs randomly through out my play time. It doesn't always exist between matches, but it varies greatly. I am currently mainly  playing on London server but recently I've changed servers to test out if packet loss occurs in different servers, and in my case at least, it does. During the last month of my play time I've switched ISP's because I thought it was through them that my problems occured after trying your troubleshooting methods, in which case it didn't work. My new ISP has the exact same issue as before, even after contacting them these issues constantly occur.  Other games in the same region / servers doesn't have that problem, and I know based on the tech behind it you can't compare different online games to each other, but there's no other way to compare it to. I've done numerous connectivity tests to ensure my connection is not faulty and it always shows that it's fine. So currently all the trouble shooting and ISP changes are not working...
