OH and now its "installing" 3h and 20 min, 20 min after start of "installing" and saying more than 1 year, its on 24%
3h and 30 min to do one patch... Not okay

Double make sure your router and steam arent on any metered connection. a Lot of other members have had this issue and just letting it run fixed it for them.
Try pausing/ Unpausing the download and see if that fixes anything (give it some time, dont jump and say "No it didnt work" after a few seconds)
If that doesn't work, stop the download all together, close steam, re-open and re-start the download.
a lot of other players are having problems and overtime, it fixed itself. DUDE, it had been over 1 hour before i even tried contact you guys. AND trying everything from verify, pausing and unpausing, restarting steam, restarting pc, checking disk, checking every * thing.
Leting it run isnt a fix, the problem is it takes took long as the patching goes from 21MB/s down to less than 1mb/s and there is nothing wrong with my router.Warzone, no problem
GTA, no problem
PUBG, no problem
and they are also big games
Heck, even lost ark didn't have this problem.
So clearly its from EA/Respawn
Also, isn't the first time this happen and it´s only for apex.Pc, steam
