If a VPN is resolving the issue, then the problem is probably related to the network route, which Respawn/EA do not have ownership of.

This means that this is an issue with most likely your ISP, you'd have to contact them and ask if there are any ongoing issues.

There might be some issues with the ISP, thus causing all kind of wonky network issues.
