On the 15th, I received an email from EA informing me that my APEX account was banned on the 13th due to cheating.
This is a bolt from the blue for me, as I have almost only played APEX on my personal device and have never used any type of cheating software. I immediately applied for a ban appeal through EA Help and was rejected for the third time today. I was also informed that I will not make any substantial progress on this issue.
As a loyal player, it is difficult to think of the specific reasons for their ban. Moreover, I am just a player and do not fully understand the operational logic and detection targets of the anti cheating system. After submitting my second application, I stumbled upon a message that the AMD driver may have caused the CS2 account to be banned by VAC. In the comments below the news, I saw some players indicating that their APEX account may also be banned for the same reason. So I immediately initiated a third appeal and explained the situation, and the response I received was that the ban would not be lifted.
Today, I saw a post in the community where many people encountered the same problem and were almost banned during the same period as me. I also noticed that the community manager Mako replied in the post that he is already dealing with the relevant issues.
But what I want to ask is, can users like me who have been rejected three times by the TOS team have another opportunity to appeal? AMD's version 10.1 driver was released on April<>. Can players who have been suspended from playing from this date until the driver's revocation have additional appeal opportunities? I think this will be a more reasonable solution.
