Hey all,
EA/Respawn is investigating this issue and are handling this via EA Support.
If you have been banned due to the anti-lag function then please reach out to the support team to appeal the ban.

- @XHelperZ First of all thank you for your help. I've done exactly that and filed my last and third dispute this afternoon after the Respawn Com. Manager also confirmed that the team is aware of the situation. Unfortunately without success as the response was that they "performed all investigations possible and they will not reverse the decision". I filed my first two disputes when the antilag+ issue wasn't public yet. I know there is nothing you can do for us but I wanted to give you one of many views of someone that got banned because of this issue.
@XHelperZ @Thanks for this information but for us that have already submitted 3 appeals we just get an automated response and our case is closed. Is there any advice for others dealing with this? I’m happy to file more appeals but at this point no human is even touching my appeal if it’s filed.
I have also made more than 3 appeals because i was impatient, im just gonna hope something happens soon to get me unbanned, im gonna wait couple weeks and make more tickets later or just hope i get auto unbanned, hopefully
Firstly, thank you for checking in on this thread, it has gotten quite large with very little positive news for a lot of people in it.
To clarify when you say contact EA Support, do you mean through the dispute/case system?
Or is there another method of contacting EA Support?
As a small update regarding my prior post, I have not yet heard back from RSPN_Thieamy, a Community Manager from Respawn, in regards to my follow up questions. Will update if/when that changes.

Yes the dispute/case system would be the correct path to take in this case.
I know this can be kind of hit or miss, so I personally would recommend to wait with sending in a ban dispute/appeal until AMD/Respawn has resolved this issue.
It might take some time before everyone on the TOS team has been made aware of this issue.
So if after a while you decide to send in an appeal, make sure to properly explain what has happened in some decent detail so they're aware of what's going on.
You can keep sending in ban disputes until they specifically mention you to stop sending any further cases on the matter, hence why I'm recommending to wait for a bit before sending in your next case.
Pretty much the same thing I just said to DeathFox applies to you.
Sometimes the responses might seem automated, though keep in mind that support might make use of templates to speed up their process as they do get a lot of support tickets on a daily basis.
Waiting a bit before sending in your next ban dispute could help a decent bit, though keep in mind that you shouldn't submit any further cases if they specifically mention you to not send any more cases on the matter.
- @XHelperZ Thank you again for helping us out. Is there anything you would recommend for people which have already used all three of their ban disputes? I used my last dispute earlier today when i saw that the Respawn Com. Manager posted that the team is aware of the situation and players might reach out about it. The other two before the issue was even public.

- @XHelperZ i think the time to wait is over considering this has been happening for more then a week and a bigger company Valve has already addressed this issue yet EA seem to have swept it under the rug, as myself and other players were given a swift beating by the TOS team by declining all 3 disputes

I think you meant smaller company. EA has like 4x+ the valuation of Valve, so one could hope that means they have more resources to confirm the issue and devote to sorting out the false bans. However I believe the sad reality is that it just makes each individual player's satisfaction less important to the overall perception of the company and its resulting market cap. The sad truth is that based on the last months steam hardware survey RX 7000 series was less than half of one percent of all GPUs.
The CS2 players got lucky that game is that companies current flagship title currently under a microscope by the game journos and they have a better track record dealing with this kind of stuff. @DeathFox21 Just so you can update the form RSPN_Thieamy has sent me a DM on reddit asking for case number and username to try and help us 3 strike disputers, so everyone please be aware and check your inboxes incase you also recieved a DM from him on REDDIT. HUGE SHOUTOUT to everyone here aswell who is keep vigilant and not letting this go unseen, lets keep it up guys
@yyyyatoxHey, I'm in the same situation as you and probably many others who disputed the ban already.
My main is still banned (disputed the ban 3 time) while my 2nd account (didn't even appeal the ban) is not which is weird.
How did you get the guy to DM you? Is there any way we can contact him as well?- @only_Daz He contacted me directly, otherwise his DMs are closed but I have passed on this thread so hopefully everyone gets looked into

I was really beginning to doubt there would anything more we could do. I have not received any further messages from RSPN_Thieamy but, I will update my most recent reddit post saying some new progress is being made.

Nice to see there is some community response...I'm still in the same spot as I have been for a few days (see: my reddit post), but I've been wary to submit my un-ban requests after seeing others be declined a few times...
@yyyyatox I was also sent a dm on Reddit but didn’t notice it until I read your comment. Sent my case number and username over. Hopefully that can help get me unbanned.
Throwing my reply into the pile. 7900XTX user who is on either my 2nd or 3rd dispute. First case was closed almost immediately. Second case was opened and I got a human in live chat. He said he was going to escalate it to the TOS team and I should receive an email from them. I never got the email and today the second case was closed as "duplicate case". So went back to ban history and clicked dispute and opened a third case (so 3rd dispute?) based on the reddit post suggestion above.
updating, I am also still banned and didn't know about the only 3 dispute thing so I had used up mine before finding out about this... I only just upgraded to a 7900 xtx then banned a day or so later... hardly got to play apex at all on my pc, was mostly in firing range practicing etc.
Hey there, I am in the same position, I filed two disputes before the issue was identified and now waiting to see some progress before filing my third one. Have you filed any disputes yet? If you haven't filed one or only one, you should be safe to file a dispute and see what happens. It is only after the third attempt that you get locked out. Which also looks like a resolution is also being worked on now.
Glad to see you were contacted as well. Can you please keep us updated on what happens? If things work out for you, I will feel much less nervous about filing my third dispute.

I have no more hope and I am absolutely disgusted with EA:
- there was no official communication
- email support does not do any investigation and responds automatically
- chat support say they were not informed with this issue
EA bans players and then doesn't care about them.
If I had been a streamer EA would have canceled my ban, but I'm just a stupid random player so no one cares.
All that remains is to boycott
- @zendbx Just gotta wait it out I’m giving a month tops, there is a Respawn dev that knows about this and has confirmed with me and others on Reddit that they are working on getting it resolved for those of us including me and you who have used our 3 disputes before they knew what was happening
@yyyyatox Thank u for what u have done. As a player from china, I am unable to contact any official personnel through these social channels, I also used my third appeal opportunity the day before yesterday, and I clearly mentioned the possible consequences of Anti Lag+in both the second and third appeals, but it was not surprising that they were both rejected. Looking forward to your new progress on the issue we have encountered!
