You're correct! If you've never played on Switch, you'll be prompted to sign into an EA account the first time you launch the game on Switch.

Just make sure you enter the login information for the correct EA account at that point (the one with your PC progress) and you'll be able to use Cross Progression to have access to that PC content while playing on your Switch.

Some things like your Apex Coin wallet will stay separate on Nintendo platforms, and any platform-exclusive skins would only appear when playing on that particular platform.
