Re: Resolution Problem (Apex Legends)

C:\Users\<YOUR USERNAME>\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local

videoconfig > open with note pad.

Find these command lines and input your resolution, fullscreen "0" and "no window border" "1"

Example >

"setting.defaultres" "1920" < Width>
"setting.defaultresheight" "1080" <Height>
"setting.fullscreen" "0"
"setting.nowindowborder" "1"

save file > reopen to check changes stuck

Apex must be closed during these changes otherwise it will overwrite upon closing.

Works for me.

  • Upon further testing, it seems setting fullscreen "0" and "nowindowborder" "1" will revert to your desktops native resolution upon exiting the game

  • I don't claim to have any knowledge about this but I :

Origin, properties, compatibility, change high DPI settings, High DPI scaling override, check the box, set to application, apply.

After this it allowed me to change the resolution in game, worked for me.

  • this really helped me ...its dead simple just changed the windowed to 1 and boom perfect again

  • Hey,

So I know this was from  like a year ago but do you know if there is another way to fix this, I tried this method andit does work. But when i go ingame I want to be able to change my resolution to 4:3 and it's stuck in 1280x720 when i go into fullscreen mode.
