Upon further testing, it seems setting fullscreen "0" and "nowindowborder" "1" will revert to your desktops native resolution upon exiting the game

I don't claim to have any knowledge about this but I :

Origin, properties, compatibility, change high DPI settings, High DPI scaling override, check the box, set to application, apply.

After this it allowed me to change the resolution in game, worked for me.

i dont get the "local" file upon installing

So I know this was from  like a year ago but do you know if there is another way to fix this, I tried this method andit does work. But when i go ingame I want to be able to change my resolution to 4:3 and it's stuck in 1280x720 when i go into fullscreen mode.
