Why would this seem strange to you in a game where a "rookie" lobby is, in fact, a platinum lobby, and where you can exit the drop ship and suicide before the first bullet of the match is fired... and still gain rp? I'm on record as noting that all ranking systems are some combination of inaccurate and manipulative, but this one adds "incompetent" to that list.
