Re: Season 6 crashing after 15 seconds in main menu

I have the same issue as well.

I repair, uninstalled and isntalled again, updated all the drivers and set all the settings to default on everything that might matter and still I enter the lobby and 4-5 seconds after that the game just closes. No error, no issues with the task itseld, no "Not responding".

    Hey @KizziFox

    What happens if you start up your PC in a Clean Boot before you launch Apex Legends? Does it still crash? If there's something else running on the PC that could be related to the crashes that might help to get around it.

    For more details on how you can set one up check out the EA Help website. Let me know if it's still happening after that. Thanks!

  • I'm also having this issue, even after repairing, reinstalling, reinstalling to another drive, changing my BIOS settings to default so my CPU is not overclocking, removed overclock on GPU, restarted PC multiple times, reinstalled Origin. Nothing seems to work.

    Hi @KITTENARSNL

    Would you mind sharing a DxDiag so we can take a look? For more info on how to pull up the file check out the EA Help site. Once you have the text file please attach it to this thread. Thanks!

    Hi all,

    I'm really sorry for the late reply on this. Looking through the DxDiag that @KITTENARSNL shared, I did notice that ROG Live Service appears to be crashing alongside Apex Legends. I've seen some cases in the past where Easy Anti-Cheat has run into trouble with programs like this, so I'm curious if that might be what's happening in this case as well. I'd recommend disabling this service, if possible, and see if that makes any difference at all.

    @Tomfoolery303_TV

    Are you also using any programs like ROG Live Service, or any sort of RGB management tools? If so, could you try disabling them as well to see if that helps with the crashing?

  • Hey there,

    I started having the same issue on PC yesterday.

    I've tried all the suggestions in this thread but it's still not working.

    Easy anti cheat pops up, the intro movie plays, it goes to the main menu and everything works totally fine for 1-10 seconds, and then it closes with no error and Origin pops back up.

    Also it will stay on the splash screen forever without crashing, it's only crashes when you click through to the main menu.

    Any suggestions?
